The uncle who told me to just
start.
My Uncle Pete has built and sold several businesses. He's the kind of person who doesn't waste words โ so when he sat me down and said I should start helping local businesses with their websites, I listened.
"Josh, every business in Brighton has a website. Most of them are terrible. You've got the skills โ go help them."
โ Uncle Pete, over coffeeHe's a bit of a character. But he knows business, and he was right. I started learning how to build proper websites using AI tools โ and it turns out I'm actually good at it.
My first proper project was redesigning Food for Friends โ a Brighton restaurant I love. I spotted a typo on their site, rebuilt the whole thing from scratch just to prove to myself I could, and that's when I realised: this could actually work.
I'm 16. I'm from Hove. This is my first website โ I built it myself. And I'd love to build one for you.
