My Uncle Pete has built and sold several businesses. He's the kind of person who doesn't waste words — so when he sat me down and said I should start helping local businesses with their websites, I listened.

My first proper project was redesigning Food for Friends — a Brighton restaurant I love. I spotted a typo on their site, rebuilt the whole thing from scratch just to prove to myself I could, and that's when I realised: this could actually work.
